Time for some leather on willow
As spring finally arrives in the UK and the smell of freshly cut grass permeates it’s time to turn our attention to Fantasy Cricket!
For those of you not in the know Cricket is a statistically rich sport that lends itself very well to a fantasy game much like Baseball does.
The main pay to enter game with cash prizes comes once again from the Daily Telegraph. Telegraph Fantasy Cricket comes at £6 per team (various discounts are available) with a £20,000 prize fund up for grabs.
There is an excellent guide on how to play here and the latest news section is also particularly useful.
For chat about the game try the FISO forums.
Scoring starts on Tuesday 29th April so you’ll need to register before then to be in with a chance.
The Telegraph will also be running a game based on international cricket later in the season.
For those of you who prefer a free to enter game take a look at Cricinfo’s County Championship 2008 game which is sure to be well run and popular with players from around the world.
There are no details on prizes yet so this one is purely for fun.
Enjoy!
